The main objective of mushroom cultivation activity was for tribal women affected by domestic violence to reach economic self-reliance as entrepreneurs through income generation. This was to be done through a training program on mushroom production, the promotion of mushroom cultivation for women affected by domestic violence. Training included all activities related to mushroom cultivation from fruiting to drying, processing. We are not able to undertake the other action component like packaging and marketing. A total number of 59 women affected by dome stic violence are participated in this mushroom cultivation training program. Currently 3 women affected by domestic violence started the mushroom cultivation unit by supports of JANAMANGAL (Center for Independent Living) and covering INR 700 income per month from 7 mushroom beds.
